Estimation of Vertical Phase Center Offset and Phase Center Variations for BDS-3 B1CB2a Signals

The BeiDou Global Satellite Navigation System (BDS-3) broadcast newly developed B1C and B2a signals. To provide a better service for global users, the vertical phase center offset (PCO) variation (PCV) are estimated B1C/B2a ionospheric-free linear combination of BDS-3 inclined geostationary orbit (IGSO) medium earth (MEO) satellites in this study. And considering traditional PCC estimation method needs two Precise determination (POD) processing, based on correlation between PCO z-offset PCV, theoretical analysis experimental comparison have been made to discuss whether POD procedure can be omitted. time series revealed inadequacy solar radiation pressure (SRP) model IGSO MEO with Pseudo Random Noise code (PRN) C45 C46. PCVraws by omitted same characteristic. final z-offsets PCVs calculated schemes agreed very well differences harmlessly ignored, which confirmed that safely save computation time. proposed study has compared Test Assessment Research Center China Office (TARC/CSNO) released model, qualities orbits BDS-only precise point positioning (PPP) solutions new both show improvements, except orbits. further verifies SRP is not suitable satellites.
